Family Movie Night

Apr 27th, 2003 Posted in Family | no comment »

Friday night we watched Disney’s American Legends. An animated film, about four American heroes: John Henry, Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed, and Casey Jones. An educational film that is also entertaining. I think this is the first family movie night film that Megan actually requested to watch a second time.

Due to my hosting provider deciding to make some changes without letting me know, the site has been experiencing some unexpected results. Most of the things have been fixed but the Photo Gallery is still down.

Happy Easter

“Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre. . . .

“And they found the stone rolled away. . . .

” . . . They entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

” . . . As they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

“And . . . said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

“He is not here: for he is risen.”

Luke 24:1-6

Family Movie Night

Tonight’s movie was Whispers: An Elephant’s Tale. Kelly said, “it was interesting because it showed the life of an elephant”. Megan enjoyed it, while I tried to sleep through it, and Mattey did sleep through it.

Family Movie Night

Tonight’s movie was The Wild Thornberrys Movie. The quote on the cover, “A journey of excitement the entire family can enjoy together”, sounded like a perfect choice. It was enjoyed by most of the family, except Mattey who seemed to be in a very bad mood.

The Wild Thornberrys, in my opinion, is one of the best that Nickelodeon has to offer.

First Trip to the Vet

Apr 9th, 2003 Posted in Family | no comment »

Cooper had his first visit to Magrane Pet Medical Center. He weighed in at a healthy 5lb. 5oz. The staff thougt he was the cutest thing, and the Vet said he was very healthy and well socialized. He also said that Cooper was the perfect match for our family and we couldn’t agree more.

Welcome to our family

Today we picked up the newest member of our family, Cooper. We drove to a small town in Northwest Ohio where we met with his breeders. He was very content on the drive home, napping here and there, and enjoying Kelly’s lap.

The girls are very excited about their new brother, and love to play with him. Cooper enjoys playing ball and slipping around on the ceramic floor.

We want to thank the breeders, Schnoodles, Ink. for taking great care of him and giving us this chance.

A Day at the Zoo

Apr 3rd, 2003 Posted in Family | no comment »

Wednesday was a gorgeous 70 degree day, not bad for the 2nd day in April. Kelly and the girls took advantage of it by taking a trip to Potawatomi Zoo. There are a few pictures in the Photo Gallery.

Press Ganey in the News

There was a nice article featuring Press Ganey in yesterday’s South Bend Tribune. It talks about how much we’ve grown and how much more growth is predicted.
