New Photo Albums

Two new photo albums have been posted to the Photo Gallery. Forgive me as they are a couple of months old. One is from Megan's first preschool music program and the other is from a cook out we had with the Hanczs.

Family Movie Night

Friday night we watched Harriet the Spy. It was a cute movie but a little bit old for our girls. It obviously influenced Megan, who has gone to sleep the past couple of night with a notebook.

Megan's Take:
"Good. The scary part was when somebody took her notebook."

Congratulations Graduates!

On Sunday I watched my sister graduate from Clay High School, and Kelly saw her youngest brother, Darrin, and Amanda's boyfriend, Johnny, graduate from Adams High School. They all have big plans ahead of them.

Amanda is going to be going to Saint Mary's College, Darrin started a new job at Great Lakes Heating & Cooling, and Johnny left the night of graduation for the Marines.

Congratulations and good luck to all three!

Pictures will be coming soon, I hope!

Family Movie Night

Friday night's movie was a new one that we bought, that was the exact opposite of the movie we bought two weeks ago. It was the successful sequel to Disney's The Jungle Book called The Jungle Book 2.

Family Movie Night

I am very behind at posting this information but here it is anyway. Friday the 7th, we watched Dunston Checks In, a very funny movie about a primate who causes all kinds of trouble in a five-start hotel. The only problem with this movie was it included a few choice words that you normally wouldn't associate with a kids show.

Family Movie Night

Friday night's movie was the best yet. We went out to the movies and watched Finding Nemo. The movie was extremely entertaining and visually stunning. Pixar is by far THE best animation company right now. (Check out this great article about the Pixar work environment)

Mattey was seen with her hands over her ears for a while as she was a little drawn back by the volume of the movie. She wasn't the happiest camper and after more than a few trips out (our apologies to the people who sat in the same row as us) she ended up falling asleep.

Megan's Take:
"It was a little bit scary when Nemo didn't listen to his father, like I don't listen to you, and the diver took him."
