Happy Birthday Kelly!

Aug 29th, 2003 Posted in Family | one comment »

Today Kelly is celebrating her 21st (again?) birthday. I’m not quite sure what we will be doing to celebrate, since we have a few trips planned in the near future, but hopefully we can come up with something.

Have a great birthday, sweetheart!

Family Movie Night

Friday night we watched Agent Cody Banks starring Frankie Muniz and Hilary Duff. It was an entertaining, kids style 007 movie.

Megan’s Take:
I liked it. That mean guy took Cody Bank’s girlfriend, and then that mean guy put that ice cube on her forehead and it was melting and her Dad said no.

Dunk Tank Experience

Aug 21st, 2003 Posted in Family | 2 comments »

Yesterday I had the opportunity to be in a dunk tank for the first time. My company, Press Ganey Associates, is one of the Pacesetter companies for the United Way. The dunk tank was one of the ways to raise money for this cause.

I was in the dunk tank for about 20 minutes. Kelly brought the girls to take part in this experience. Megan was the first to dunk me. She threw right at the target and hit it, except the tennis ball didn’t carry enough weight to drop the target. A friendly helper pushed the target after she had hit it. Kelly took a couple of turns throwing and dunked me twice. Thanks Sweetheart! I took my share of dunkings from fellow employees also.

Check out the photos.

Friday night we watched The Lizzie McGuire Movie. At first Megan didn’t want to watch this movie, but she did enjoy the little cartoon Lizzie that would pop up through out the show.

Megan’s Take:
She got sick, she got a friend, and there is this little tiny girl and it was good.

Cooper’s Back

Cooper, minus a few male parts, rejoined the family today after a day away recovering from being neutered. Magrane Pet Medical Center took great care of him, and our pocket books too. He is quite calm, probably a side effect of his pain medication, and seems to be recovering well.

Friday Movie Night

Last night we watched Piglet’s Big Movie for family movie night. I was too tired, from helping some friends move, to say much about the show. The few minutes that I remember looked like a good show with a good message.

Megan’s Take:
It was good! I was sad. Piglet’s book fell down in the river. Roo found his scarf. Rabbit plants seeds, and Tigger bounced, and Pooh eats honey.
