First Test

I had my first test in my programming class today.  I think I did ok, probably not as good as possible but fair.  It was nice to be able to leave class after taking the short test instead of having to sit through two hours of class.  An even better thing is that today's class is the last class before Spring break.  It seems kind of silly to have Spring break during the first week of March but I am glad it is here.

iTunes Music Giveaway

Finally I am having my chance to participate in the Pepsi iTunes Music Giveaway.  I have looked at four or five other stores, prior to today, and none of them have had the specially marked (yellow capped) Sierra Mist bottles of pop.  They also sell Pepsi and Diet Pepsi with these yellow caps but they are only offered in the caffeinated versions.  Anyway the idea behind the game is that under one out of every three of these caps is a code that allows you to download a song for free from Apple's iTunes store.  I bought ten bottles of Sierra Mist and I will keep a running tally here of how many songs I have actually won.

106
I am quite happy with my winnings, much better than their 1 in 3 winning odds.

Happy Valentine's Day

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day.  Most importantly I wanted to publicly say how thankful I am for a wonderful wife.  Happy Valentines Day Sweetheart!

I would also like to wish my two sweet little girls a Happy Valentine's Day.  Megan woke up early this morning and together we made Kelly a Valentine's Day card.  She loves to make stuff.  Mattey is a little under the weather so she is still sleeping. (She just came down and gave me a big hug while I was finishing this)

Kelly has lots of fun and exciting foods planned for today's holiday.  She's making heart shaped French Toast for breakfast and then dinner is planned to have all kinds of red and pink food.  How fun is she!

Don't forget to tell that someone special in your life how much you care for them.

Happy Birthday Cooper!

Today Cooper celebrated his 1st birthday.  The girls took turns, this morning, brushing him so that he would look good for his birthday.  Kelly made a lemon cake and we sang happy birthday to him.  I'm sure his favorite part of the day was actually getting to eat a piece of the cake.  He scarfed it down and licked the plate clean.

The Dream Job

After reading this article about a photographer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I think I now know what the "Dream Job" would be.  I would love to be a team photographer for a professional basketball team.  To be that close to the action would be the ultimate thrill, and then to be able to relive that thrill while reviewing the hundreds to thousands of shots after each game.  The only downside would be the amount of traveling while the team was away on road trips.

Oh well, one can dream!
