Strikes and Spares

Last night the girls and I went and checked out the newest bowling alley in town, Strikes and Spares, located on Grape Road in the old Spiece building.  It's a small (20 lane) center but it is very high tech and quite nice.  Touch screens are used to setup your bowlers, make any changes, or request service from the waiter/waitress who will come to your table and take your order.  We had it setup so that when Megan was bowling, the gutter guards automatically came up, which was really cool.  Another difference from any other bowling alley in town is that your pay by the hour and not by how many games you play.  One of the best features is that it is smoke-free.

The girls had lots of fun bowling and asked if we could go again tomorrow.

Sounds like a fun place. I like the gutter guard concept (for Corey, not me). What is the rate per hour?

Mickey said it was $15 an hour and shoe rental was $3. I was sad that they went without me. They (Mickey especially) were just afraid that I would win.

No I was just afraid that you would fall and hurt yourself!
