Passes with Flying Colors

Yesterday Megan's report card came in the mail.  She had an excellent year.  She mastered everything that was introduced to her.  Her teacher, Mrs. Holmberg, said Megan "made wonderful progress in Kindergarten" and that she has "nice printing".  She did great in my opinion.  Meg is looking forward to starting 1st grade in the fall.  She has a workbook that she is doing this summer so she can keep up with her learning.  She always wants to do the math part, which is great.  She is reading very well too.  The only thing that I'm bummed about this school year is that she didn't learn to tie her shoes.  Isn't that part of the kindergarten curriculum anymore?  I guess we'll have to work on that this summer.  I hope I have the patience.

Any lefties out there willing to teach Megan how to tie her shoes? Just kidding, she'll probably do that right handed as well. We are very proud of how well she did.

Good job Megan! Following in the footsteps of your parents (they're awesome too)! Good job Mom and Dad!
