Little Bit

Little Bit (Mattey) had a doctor's appointment last week. She wasn't sick, but rather just went in for a four-year checkup.  The results, healthy all around and here’s the tale of the tape: 40 1/2 inches tall and a whopping 31 pounds.  And that is why sometimes we call her Little Bit.

Only Two Games Left

This season of soccer seems to be going by so fast.  Megan only has two more games left so I figured I better post the dates and times of her remaining games.  All games are played at Tarkington Field which is across from Hickory Village Apartments on Hickory Road.

Just Plain Busy

This school thing has really kept me on the go lately. I've had two tests recently with lots of reading and studying in between.  I’ve also written a law paper as well.  It really makes me wish I had only taken one class instead of two, but at that rate I would never get finished with school.

Yesterday Megan had a dentist appointment.  She has come a long way from when she first had to be held down in a chair to get dental work done (Boy am I hoping that Kaden doesn’t have to go through that).  Now she goes back all alone with the hygienist and comes back all smiles.  What a difference!  Megan had a panoramic x-ray taken of her mouth yesterday.  That was pretty cool to see all the adult teeth just waiting to push the baby teeth out.

Kaden pulled himself up to the couch last night for the first time.  He was trying to get Kelly’s knitting.  He is really moving around after things now.  The fun begins!

Can You Say Enfuego?

Saturday was a beautiful day for a soccer game.  The sky was a gorgeous shade of blue, the grass and trees were still green, and the temperature was just right.  All that being said, for a short period of time during the third quarter, all I could see was red.  A red hot little soccer player named Megan.  She lit the other team up for three straight goals in matter of minutes.  She was totally ENFUEGO!  Here she is on her way to scoring a couple of the goals.

You can see other pictures from that day here.

The funny thing about this is that even after scoring all those goals, the next time she went into the game she wanted to play defense.  She loves playing defense.
