3 Seconds of Fame

I didn't get the whole 15 minutes worth, but I do feel good about leading off the video clip for what is currently the top story at WSBT. Yesterday I was making a quick stop at the library when I saw someone being interviewed by a local news crew. So I dawdled around long enough to make sure that I was walking past while they weren't interviewing anyone, just hoping that they would ask me. Yeah right, what really happened was just bad timing on my part. I walked past just seconds after they had finished with someone else and I knew I was done for. The reporter (Kelli), asked me if they could ask me some questions. Me being kind of cautious said, "About what?" (probably with a funny look on my face) She said something about thefts inside cars, so I decided what the heck. The questions weren't too bad and I tried hard to think about my response before just blurting out some incoherent random statement. Of course I did leave the interview hoping that one particular statement was not the one they picked to show. Luckily it wasn't.

So here is the story and on the page there is a link to watch the video. Now where's my agent?

When Amanda was in Michiana Star Search we thought she might be our star, but I don't know now I think you might be our star!!! Good job Mickey! Actually, you're both our shining stars! Love you!

Mickey, you gave the best advice by far. You have my vote for ITS (Interviewee of The Segment).

YES! I've always wanted an ITS. Now I'd like to thank... (2 minutes later I'm still thanking people and we're off to commercial)

hehe! WTG Mickey. Now we can all say we knew you when... Im just curious where we should leave our garage door openers, if not in our cars? Perhaps in our garages? Or under a fake rock in our yards? Or better yet, in our houses?

And how am I supposed to take the built in, programmable garage door opener out of the van? Hmmm. It's a good idea but not very realistic.

Good interview, Sweetie. Better you than me.

And thanks for putting up some new news.

Man, mickey...first the ducks in the sewer and now car theft? You're basically a celebrity now, especially with that facial hair. Rustic/back woodsman is very in right now. haha I had to change my password again just so I could comment.

It was probably something that could be considered "adult". Ha.
