Is it too early for Spring?

A little while after the girls came home from school (it was a half day), Megan very excitedly told me that she saw a robin while at the bus stop this morning. She said that means Spring is coming. I told her I really hope so. I hope that little bird knows what is really going on and didn't come prematurely. I'm SO ready for Spring and I'm sure everyone else here is too. Come on Spring!

I read this at work and then while driving home it started to snow. It's just not fair!

I thought it was the groundhog, not the robin that ushered in spring? I'll take it either way, though! But spring exposes all those potholes in the SB roads...

At the very least, the presence of a robin probably indicates that it's time to take the Standiford Christmas card off our fridge? So hard to take down something so cute.

The potholes have already been visible for several weeks, maybe even months. We haven't had a lot of snow to keep them covered. Which is nice because then you can see them and steer around. Some roads are so bad a rough road ahead sign has been put up. I wonder when they're going to get around to fixing them. Maybe when it's actually Spring.
