Standiford Family

Well this year there is no trip to Utah sans kids, but the kids and I did manage to pick up a few things for Kelly (thanks to some last minute shopping).  Hopefully they will be things that help her enjoy her day.  What am I saying, she provided the list for the last minute shopping so I think they should do the trick.

I thought about organizing a little get together for her birthday, but too much indecision and now here it is the actual day.  I’m not very good at putting together parties, seems someone else in the house is the queen of that.

We’re going to go out for lunch (another decision pending on the location), probably open some presents when the girls get home from school, and then maybe enjoy some cake later.  Another lame thing, Kelly is making her own birthday cake.  Not lame for her, since she prefers her own cakes (and who wouldn’t when they are as good as they are), but just lame that I can’t provide it for her.

So pretty low key, but no less special.  Happy Birthday Sweetheart!  I hope you enjoy a good day.
