For Sale

After thinking about it for a while I've decided I'm going to start selling bags.  Even if the economy isn't doing that great it will give me something to do, not that I don't have enough to do already but I need a creative focus.  I decided if I'm going to sell something with my blood, sweat, and tears (sometimes literally) in it I needed to have my name on it.  Last week I ordered some ribbon from Name Maker.  It came in today.  Here's my business name:

kellaford ribbon

I'm so excited.  I'm putting it in the bags I've made right now.

If you'd like to place an order for one of my creations it may not get done until after Christmas.  I have a long list of things to make already but if I get time maybe I could get to it.  I can't make any promises unless a sizeable donation comes along with the order. ;-)

ooh I love the ribbon and I think your name is so clever. Hm... I am thinking my bag will be an "after the new year" project, whatcha think?

Go Kelly! Good for you. Your bags are darling (from the pictures I've seen on here) and I totally love the name. You'll have to keep us updated on prices and everything.

By the way, I thought you were going to say you put your house on sale.

Awesome, Kelly. Way to make a dream come true. Yes, keep us posted.

The prices will probably vary a little bit depending on the type and price of the fabrics. After Christmas I will have a list of some sort for what styles I will offer. I like the idea of custom bags so no two will be the same. (Who wants to have the same bag as someone else anyway? Not me, that's why I started making them.) I am open to whatever and will try to make the bag according to your specs and needs. Stay tuned for more details.

I totally want one! Seriously, let me know when I can get one. Your business name is cool. I can just see it on a sign at fashion week in Paris. I want to make tags for the clothes I've been making, so maybe I'll try that site.
