Exercise

Not too long ago Mickey and I were feeling a little frumpy/plump.  I knew I was going to start working out consistently (again) once the kids were in school.  Mickey wanted to find a way to exercise too.  He found miCoach by Adidas.

Mi Coach

He's been doing really good at getting his workout in before work.  Until last week when he somehow injured himself.  I made him take the rest of the week off after I had rubbed his sore spot and almost made him cry.  He took Meg to practice tonight and decided to get his run in at the park.  I guess the injury has healed.

I just want to add that I think it's totally unfair that Mickey, and probably men in general, can work out half as much (or maybe less) as I do and can get in shape 5 times as fast.  It takes me at least 12 weeks to even start noticing a difference.  I tell you it's unfair!

Amen, sister. That sad truth about weight loss makes me so irritated I think I'll eat some chocolate to take the edge off.

And finding solace in chocolate has nothing to do with differences, right?
