Piggy Opera

At the end of the school year the kindergarten classes put on a production of "The Three Piggy Opera".  This was our third time watching it but today was the first time one of our kids had a part other than chorus.  Kade starred as the Daddy Pig.

Daddy Pig

He doesn't look too excited here but he got into it once the show began.  I'll get the video up sometime.

The morning didn't start well with Meg missing her bus and then she couldn't get ahold of her friend to catch a ride.  I had to take her which meant I'd have to take the reds too.  I was a little flustered to say the least but Kade gave me some comic relief.

He wanted to wear his nice clothes to school instead of changing before the play.  (It turned out to be a good thing too.)  He came down stairs saying he couldn't button his shirt.  His hand wouldn't work.  (I know the feeling.)  The buttons needed to be on the other side he said.  I went to help him and notice the little feminine detail around the collar.  I started laughing because he was wearing Mattey's shirt so the buttons were on the wrong side.  Don't know how that happened.  I'm sure I was the one that put it in his closet.  Oops.

The poor guy almost ended up as the Second Mama Piggy. Just kidding! I'm sure it would have been fine. I love little kids in plays!
