First of all, the weather was perfectly lovely. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The sun was shining and there was a breeze. The temperature was around 80. Like I said, perfect.
Second, we got to meet some family of our player friends. It was fun to talk to them and get to know them a little.
Third, Notre Dame won! It wasn't just a win, they were blowing them away the first three quarters. Then they let the first string guys rest which allowed some other guys to get some experience.
Fourth, we didn't have to worry about our kids all day. Thanks to my parents for keeping the reds and the Stones for letting Meg hang out with them.
Last, but certainly not least, I got to spend a lot of time with my husband. Actually that was the best part of the day even though I kept getting splinters in my bum from the bench, we were packed in like sardines, and we were in the sun until the 4th quarter. I would do it all again.
I can't wait for the USC game. Go Irish!
